Robert F Bernstock graduated from Hamilton College, and obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree. He then received his Masters of Business Administration from Harvard Business School. Robert F Bernstock is a respected management professional who has held corporate leadership positions for many years in a range of different industries. And in each of these industries Robert F Bernstock has held leadership positions such as CEO, COO, Division President and General Manager.
Robert F Bernstock worked for several major food and beverage companies during his career, including General Foods Corporation, the Campbell Soup Company, and Vlasic Foods International. Bob began his business career as an Assistant Product Manager with the General Foods Corporation and held positions of increasing responsibility over the next eight years. A few years later Bob joined the Campbell Soup Company and over a thirteen year career, he served as President of the International Grocery Division, President of the U.S. Grocery Division, and Executive Vice President of the Corporation. Vlasic Foods International, Inc. was a $1.5 billion spin-off from Campbell Soup, and Bob served as the President, Chief Executive Officer, and a member of the Board of Directors
Robert F Bernstock also worked in the services industry as President of the Mailing and Shipping Services division of the United States Postal Service. This was a division that, at the time, was responsible for more than $70 billion in annual sales. Bob’s achievements during his tenure included the launch of the Priority Mail Flat Rate Box integrated marketing campaign—“A Simpler Way to Ship.”
Robert F Bernstock also worked for technology companies. Bernstock was the President, CEO, and a board member of Atlas Commerce in 2001. During December, 2001, Atlas Commerce was sold to VerticalNet and Bernstock joined the Board of VerticalNet.
